Hopefully those functions will appear soon, but even before then Moonvalley feels like a true contender for best video generator out there right now - especially if you are looking to produce an animation style. It also doesn't have the same control over the camera that Runway Gen2 and Pika Labs offer. What it can't do yet is accept image prompts. Moonvalley offers the choice of 5 different styles: Comic book, Fantasy, Anime/Manga, Realism and 3D Animation. None of these examples have been upscaled by the way. The perceived quality is also very good, even if technically Runway's output is higher resolution. Moonvalley's character animations are more realistic and reliable - particularly walk cycles which the other AI video generators really struggle with currently. To my mind it outperforms both Runway and Pika Labs in many respects - and that's even after Runway's most recent update which was announced today. Its available now via Discord and 100% free. Labels Want to Prevent ‘Taylor’s Version’-Like Re-Recordings From Ever Happening AgainĪll these clips were created from text prompts using a new AI video generator called Moonvalley. #musicindustryupdates #rerecording #musicindustry #contracts #recordlabels #Taylorsversion. To pose such lengthy restrictions should be alarming!! The trend of artists re-recording their catalogs stems from diverse motivations, including cultural, political, economic, artistic, and a desire for control. ![]() This exclusive term concludes once all contractual options have expired, marking the end of the artist's obligation to record exclusively for the labelįor this re-record restriction to be extended to 10-30 years is not only surprising but mostly concerning. To clarify, this period doesn't refer to how long a record label owns the recordings, but rather how long an artist is exclusively bound to record for that label. In the music industry, there has traditionally been a standard re-record restriction period, typically lasting between 3 to 5 years. This comes in the wake of the astonishing global success that is Taylor Swift's "Taylor's Version" re-recording project. It has come to my attention that new record label contracts are, most recently, forcing artists to wait 10-30 years if they ever would like to re-record, according to Billboard. “Make the goal a focus, not “the focus”, don’t focus on the goal during the journey, rather the process, and enjoy it too.” The one that enjoys the process eventually gradually gets to the goal and is able to set new ones easily.□ Enjoy the journey, savor the moment, at this point I will love to drop a controversial quote by me. Hence I must conclude with the fact that the journey and process is more important that the “sometimes unreal destination”. But the one that keeps going will keep getting relevant. It is an endless journey and no one will get there eventually, yes you read that right No one will get there eventually, because it is more of a journey than a destination, our need for relevance and lime light is insatiable. Kudos to those who strive for growth, improvement and development. Sometimes we may also need to disconnect from the world of social media or even the world to dig out that new skill that has been lying as a potential all along. #animation #ToonboomHarmony #traditionalanimation #animationtools #2Danimation #animationlife #animationcareer #animationstudent #animationteam #characteranimation #keyframeanimation #animated #warnerbros #warnerbrothers #animator #2danimatorĪwesome creative story, quite similar to that which I shared about evolving from graphics to UIUX and 3D to AR and VR. It's crucial to be willing to learn and grow as a professional, and this project allowed me to do just that. I learned from this experience how important it is to be adaptable and face obstacles head-on. Thanks to this project, I now use Toonboom Harmony as my main animation tool. ![]() By the end of the project, I had successfully animated almost the entire sequence with no need to outsource. So, I disconnected from all social media for a few months and dove into figuring out Toonboom Harmony while simultaneously animating each shot. I quickly realized that this sequence was too complex for Flash, and I needed to learn a new tool. At the time, I was primarily using Flash and the vector brush tool for traditional animation. ![]() However, our director wanted me to handle a few of the shots in-house. In 2016, we had a sequence that was supposed to be outsourced to a studio. ![]()
